Mike Falco and Billy Moore set the Class 1 pace at Thunder On Cocoa Beach, with two stunning laps, both a full five seconds ahead of the competition.
It was the first Class 1 outing for Team Defalco's new ex-Qatari Victory, sourced and set up by Billy Moore.
They were followed home by a very tight pack of Morpheus, then Monster Energy/M-CON and dfYOUNG/Good Boy Vodka, all within 30 seconds of each other.
Today's qualifying serves as a tempting appetizer to what we hope will be a feast of racing action in the surf. Broadcast live on MAV TV from 10:00 am Sunday morning.
