The countdown is underway to the opening event of the new UIM Class 1 World Championship with teams preparing to head to Cocoa Beach on Florida’s Space Coast (May 19 - 21).
The international fleet reflects the momentum that has returned to the premier class of offshore racing with new boats and racers joining familiar faces in the six-venue series.
The Class 1 action will kick off with the Pole Race- a time trial for to starting order for the main race on Sunday, on Saturday afternoon as the current world champions, Huski Chocolate begin the defence of their title.
