Biography

Hugh Fuller started his racing career in cars and raced around Daytona and Sebring before moving onto the water. He achieved his first powerboat title in 2001, winning the APBA Super Cat National Championship alongside legendary throttleman Johnny Tomlinson.

Hugh went on to win the 2011 Clearwater Super Boat National Championship, averaging 104 mph over a rugged 79.2-mile course. He has also amassed nearly 10 world championship title, 2 national titles, including the Super Cat World and National championships in 2001, 2002, and 2003. Fuller was inducted into the APBA Hall of Champions early on in his career.

In addition, Hugh and teammates went on to win the Unlimited Class in the 2019 Offshore Powerboat Association (OPA) World Championship, his second consecutive victory in the series.

Hugh will be making his Class 1 debut in 2023 and his considerable experience in Unlimited and Extreme boats will be invaluable.
