In 1996 he teamed up with Norwegian Bjorn Gjelsten to form their legendary partnership in Spirit of Norway winning the title five times. He was victorious again in 2005 alongside Bard Eker in the same boat, and in 2022 with Travis Pastrana and Brit Lilly.
As well as world titles he has notched up five European and four Middle East Championships, winning forty five Grand Prix and multiple OPA and SBI World and National titles in the USA.
