Born in Queensland, Australia, Grant moved to the USA when he was 22 becoming a US citizen in 2006.
The founder of Grant's Signature Racing in Bradenton, Fla., one of the world's top high-performance powerboat custom rigging shops, Grant is a multi-time world and national championship-winning offshore racing throttleman.
He made his racing debut in 1998 driving a 35' Jaguar called Snack Attack at Key West, going on to compete in Super Vee, Stock Outboard, Super Cat Lite, Super Boat and Super Cat winning a raft of national and world titles: in Stock outboard in 2008, Super Cat in 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2019, claiming the SBI Triple crown ' World, National and Florida championships in 2011.
He marked his UIM Class 1 debut this season with a podium in Michigan City, and alongside his Class 1 duties races in Super Cat and Stock Outboard.
